The final funeral rites of the late Asante Mamponghene, Daasebre Osei Bonsu II, brought together mourners from all walks of life, including several prominent Ghanaian showbiz personalities.

The solemn event, traditionally referred to as Doteyie in Ashanti culture, saw attendees dressed in black and red while participating in various cultural rites and customs to honour the late chief.

Here are some of the celebrities who were present to pay their last respects:

    Evangelist Diana Asamoah

Gospel singer Evangelist Diana Asamoah was among individuals who mourned with the royal family.

Dressed in an all-black straight gown, she adhered to the traditional mourning attire and was seen respectfully greeting members of the royal family and other guests.

    Akabenezer (Dr. Likee)

Popular actor and content creator Akabenezer, widely known as Dr. Likee, attended the funeral with his team.

He was seen dressed appropriately for the occasion and participated in paying tribute to the late Mamponghene.

    Kweku Flick

Kumasi-based rapper Kweku Flick, known for his hit song Money, was also in attendance.
