The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has cautioned the public against a fraudulent recruitment scheme being promoted online via the website GOLERNERSHUB.COM, warning that it has no affiliation with the site or any ongoing recruitment process.

In an official press release dated June 2, 2025, signed by Assistant Commissioner of Immigration M. Amoako-Atta, the GIS emphasized that it has not opened any recruitment portal, nor authorised any individual or third-party to conduct recruitment or sell protocol forms on its behalf.

“The Ghana Immigration Service has not received government clearance for any form of recruitment,” the statement read.

“Any legitimate recruitment exercise will be advertised through official GIS platforms, national newspapers, and credible media outlets.”

The GIS assured the public that its Intelligence Section, working with other security agencies, is actively investigating the source of the fraudulent activity and is determined to identify and prosecute the perpetrators.

The Service strongly urged the public to disregard any messages or offers from GOLERNERSHUB.COM and similar unofficial platforms, warning that anyone who engages with such schemes does so at their own risk.
