Ghanaian media personality and entrepreneur Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Delay, has offered a heartfelt reflection on her early struggles, encouraging young people to remain hopeful and resilient in the face of adversity.

In a Facebook post shared on May 30, 2025, Delay recalled a time when she could barely afford a proper meal.

Looking back on her journey, she expressed gratitude for how far she has come since starting her food brand, Delay Foods, over 20 years ago.

“It feels like just yesterday when I couldn’t afford a decent meal. Today, the small food business I started, Delay Foods, now has 10 product variants! And we’re just getting started! I’m talking about just 2004,” she wrote.

Delay also opened up on the uncertainty she faced as a young woman, revealing that at one point in her life, she was homeless and had no clear direction.

“I had nowhere to live and didn’t know what to do with my life. I’m sitting here right now, wondering what I did right for God to be this merciful to me,” she reflected.

Her message ended with a powerful note of encouragement to her followers: “Do not give up on yourself. Help is coming!”

Delay’s story continues to inspire many, serving as a testament to perseverance, faith, and the power of believing in one’s dreams.
