A Nigerian student shares the dramatic video she sent to her dad, requesting financial assistance to restock her food items in school.
The lady @timi_daniel8 lamented that she no longer had the strength to call her father for money since she was so weak, but she did have the strength to make a video showing her situation.
In the video, the lady looking thin and disheveled showed her father the empty containers from her kitchen, she also showed him her flat stomach, indicating that she was hungry before laying dejectedly on her bed as her strength ran out.
The short video appeared to work as her father promptly sent her some money before reassuring and motivating her in a follow-up message.
He wrote;
“To become a great person in life you must definitely undergo some stress and rigorous stages hunger and it’s associated components and others also follows, all these are to mold your future personality.
Therefore, daughter be courageous, prayerful and focus on God and know why you are there.
Avoid short cuts because it’s very dangerous and not every glittering thing is gold. God who started the journey will surely take it to the end. Ensure to make your parents proud.”
Social media users praised her creative sense of humour. Many found her situation very relatable as they too recounted when they had been broke in school and had to find creative ways to ask for assistance from home.
