The Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central Constituency, Joana Gyan Cudjoe, has launched a bold initiative aimed at transforming the educational landscape of her constituency by actively involving tertiary students in decision-making processes.

In a call to action, the MP invited all university and tertiary-level students from Amenfi Central to participate in a series of stakeholders’ meetings. These sessions are designed to address challenges within the education sector and to generate innovative solutions through collaboration.

To ensure effective communication and engagement, Joana Gyan Cudjoe has asked students to submit their personal details, including name, institution, programme of study, hometown, contact information, and academic level, via designated mobile contacts.

This initiative has been warmly received by constituents, many of whom have hailed Joana Gyan Cudjoe as a visionary leader. Several residents expressed deep appreciation for her proactive approach, with some suggesting that the initiative be institutionalized under a development scheme named after her — “Joana Gyan Cudjoe Development Fund.” The proposed fund would support projects across education, healthcare, community development, and poverty alleviation.

One passionate resident remarked, “I always wonder what our constituency would look like today if Joana Gyan Cudjoe had been our MP from the beginning. She is truly the best thing to happen to us.”

Another added, “The initiative is not only empowering students but also giving them a voice in the future of Amenfi Central. Naming the fund after her would be a well-deserved tribute.”

By creating a platform for youth engagement, Joana Gyan Cudjoe is setting a precedent for participatory leadership. Her efforts are expected to yield lasting benefits for the constituency’s educational development and youth empowerment.

As one supporter aptly stated, “This is a timely and impactful initiative. Joana Gyan Cudjoe is investing in the leaders of tomorrow, and we proudly stand with her.”
