Some Ghanaian media personalities have taken to social media to share mixed reactions following Manchester United’s terrible defeat during the Europa Cup finals.
On May 21, 2025, Tottenham Hotspur locked horns with the Red Devils at the San Mames Stadium where Spurs won by a 1 goal to victory.
Tottenham began the much-anticipated game on a high note, dominating the first half with Brennan Johnson who latched an incredible goal into the goalpost.
Reacting to Tottenham Hotspur’s victory, some entertainment personalities such as KiDi, Nana Aba Anamoah, Kofi Kinaata, and Wode Maya among others have taken to their social media platforms to express mixed reactions after the game.
Nana Aba, a staunch Manchester United fan, in a series of posts has ruined several curses on Tottenham for thwarting the Red Devils from winning the trophy.
“Tottenham, Nyame be tua mo ka. Let me remind you that I’m not feeling well at the moment so don’t disturb me if the result doesn’t favour Man Utd.
“I hate nonsense. When we win dier, you go hear me from afar. You go feel the pressing everywhere on your body. God of Man Utd, ma wo nsa so oo,” she said.
Kofi Kinaata who is also a fan also shared several memes on X, expressing disappointment in the club.

Meanwhile, this is the first major trophy for Tottenham Hotspur in 17 years, despite winning the League Cup in 2008.
