Yaw Adomako Baafi, a former Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has taken a swipe at Ningo-Prampram MP, Sam George, questioning the apparent lack of spiritual guidance in his conduct as a politician.

Speaking on Movement TV, Baafi expressed disappointment that Archbishop Charles Agyin-Asare, founder of the Perez Chapel International, has not intervened in the behavior of Sam George, who is reportedly an elder at the church.

“Agyin-Asare has done Sam George a disservice; I hear he is an elder at his church,” Adomako Baafi said, implying that the pastor’s influence could have instilled greater humility in the MP.

Drawing parallels with his own religious background, Baafi stated, “As an Adventist, my pastors and elders monitor everything I do. My wife also does, as well as my children.”

He went on to issue a broader critique of politicians who, in his view, lack empathy in their public discourse.

“If you are a politician and you’ve never been sick before, then go ahead and insult people. But if you’ve ever had a headache, that alone should teach you a lesson,” he said.

He continued, “If you’re a politician and none of your family members has ever died, then go ahead and insult people. But if you’ve lost a brother or any family member, you should learn to be humble.

“If you’re a politician and you’ve never walked past a cemetery, then continue with your insults.”

Adomako Baafi concluded by describing Sam George as walking around like a “bloated frog,” a sharp jab intended to underscore his belief that unchecked pride has marred the MP’s public image.
