A lady showed off how a tuber of yam she left in the kitchen before traveling for the holiday grew extensively in two weeks.

When the lady @thevinealberts returned to her apartment, she was startled to discover that an extended yam stem had grown out of the tuber and wrapped itself around the pipe of the kitchen sink.

The stem appeared fresh, so it could be planted to yield several tubers in a few months, even if the yam was contaminated and unfit for consumption.

While some viewers expressed their fear towards the length at which the stem grew, others shared their similar experiences.
