Ghanaian dancehall musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has promised to assist blogger Kwadwo Sheldon after the media personality disclosed that his house was flooded due to Sunday’s heavy downpour.

In a post shared on X, Shatta Wale expressed sympathy for the blogger and noted that he is available to provide any kind of assistance.

“This is serious, sorry brother. Let me know if you need some help. So sorry, chale,” he said.

His response comes after a video shared on social media on Sunday, May 18, 2025, in which Kwadwo Sheldon revealed that his apartment had been heavily flooded due to the rain.

Shatta Wale’s post on social media has sparked mixed reactions among netizens.

While some social media users have expressed dissatisfaction with Shatta Wale’s decision to assist the blogger, others have praised him for his kind gesture.

On May 18, 2025, Accra and its surrounding municipalities were once again brought to a standstill as heavy rainfall led to widespread flooding, submerging homes and leaving commuters stranded.

The downpour, which began around 3:00 pm and lasted nearly three hours, affected neighborhoods including Ofankor Barrier, Weija, Kaneshie, Labadi, Kaneshie, First Light, Dzorwulu, Pantang, Adabraka, Adentan-Dodowa, and parts of Tema, with severe flooding reported in the Adjei-Kojo Kanewu area of Tema West Municipality.
