    A young woman bravely decided to jump out of a plane from 15,000ft hurting through the sky at 120mph.

    Nicky Harty took on the jump to raise money for a domestic abuse charity and said she initially felt incredible.    

    But the experience took a terrifying turn when her previously chatty instructor suddenly stopped talking and started fumbling around behind her back.   

    ‘In that present moment, I could tell something was going on,’ Nicky told her followers on TikTok ‘Something was not right.’

    She added: ‘My skydiving partner didn’t talk back to me.

    ‘I was like, ‘Oh f***, there’s something going on here.’

    Ms Harty later discovered that her parachute had become tangled and was unable to open.

    Her instructor cut the first parachute and was luckily able to open the emergency reserve.

    ‘He was trying to figure everything out at the back – little did I know what was going on,’ Ms Harty, from Ireland, added.

    Despite being warned that the landing would not be as smooth as expected, the pair landed safely. 

    However, when her instructor stopped talking and Ms Harty felt like she was ‘falling to my [her] death’ and began to swear on her kids life.

    Reflecting on the footage which documents her near-death jump just outside of Dublin, she said: ‘So my skydiving partner was feeling my hooks in front of me and I was like, “Oh my Lord, this is really it for me.”

    ‘In that present moment, I swore on my kid’s life. ‘I’m like, death is coming for me.

    ‘I’m going to die. ‘I’m just going to fall out of the air. Nothing is gonna keep me up now.

    ‘In my own mind, the parachute was f*****.

    ‘The man’s behind me was not talking, poking at everything.

    ‘Like, I was falling to my death. I’ll never forget that feeling, ever, ever, ever.

    ‘When I say I’ve been traumatised the last two days, you have no clue.

    ‘I’ve knots in my stomach. I’ve not been the same person the last two days.

    ‘Although it was amazing – falling out, jumping out – to actually expect your parachute to work and then have your instructor go silent…which I’m glad he did now, because imagine how I would have reacted then.

    ‘Within seconds of that whole big fright, he literally came back to life with me.

    ‘He started talking and he was like, “Yeah, you like it?” Thank the Lord above is all I can say.’
