Ghana international Mohammed Kudus was in action for West Ham United on Sunday afternoon and helped the team to stun Manchester United with a 2-0 win.
The versatile midfielder started the Week 36 encounter in the 2024/25 English Premier League campaign against the Red Devils and played 73 minutes before making way for Carlos Soler.
On the matchday, Mohammed Kudus impressed with his performance, setting up Tomas Soucek in the 26th minute to give the visitors the lead.
That combination ensured that West Ham United went into the break with a narrow lead and en route to bagging three important points.
After recess, Mohammed Kudus and his teammates laboured to keep out Manchester United, making sure that Ruben Amorim’s team could not find the back of the net.
The Hammers sealed their victory in the 57th minute through a strike by star forward Jarred Bowen.
With the win today, West Ham United have climbed to 15th place with 40 points, one more than Manchester United who have dropped to 16th place.
