With just a few days to the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), debates about who deserves the Artiste of the Year have not ceased.

Fans and industry players have been rooting for their favourites.

A comment made by Ghanaian media personality, DJ Slim, has infuriated King Paluta.

In an X post sighted by Zionfelix.net, DJ Slim stated that he would be disappointed if Stonebwoy or King Promise is now crowned as the Artiste of the Year.

He wrote: “I will be disappointed in Ghana Music Awards if they give the artist of the year award to anybody apart from Stonebwoy Or King Promise.

“You can’t show less interest in the scheme and expect to be awarded. This nonsense must stop.”

Unhappy about his statement, King Paluta tagged it as loose talking, adding that people like DJ Slim should be deleted from the industry.

“Fada! This be loose talk !! So they should award based on PR and not metrics? If someone doesn’t campaign and he deserves it, they shouldn’t give it to him ?? Dem for delete you all from the industry,” Paluta reacted.
