Daniel Kyerewaa was among the scorers as SC Preußen Münster demolished Magdeburg 5-0 in a stunning 2. Bundesliga Round 32 clash at the Avnet Arena.

Despite Magdeburg dominating possession with 63%, it was SC Preußen Münster who made every attack count.

Jorrit Hendrix opened the scoring with a powerful header in the 12th minute before Marc Lorenz netted twice, once from open play and another from the spot, to give the visitors a commanding 3-0 lead at halftime.

After the break, Joshua Mees blasted home a fourth from outside the box in the 52nd minute, before Kyerewaa put the icing on the cake just two minutes later. The German Ghanaian midfielder reacted quickest inside the box, slotting home with his left foot from close range. It was Kyerewaa’s second goal of the season in his 18th league appearance.

This was only SC Preußen Münster’s second-ever win against Magdeburg, who had previously won seven of the last nine meetings.

Next up for SC Preußen Münster is a tough test against Hertha BSC on May 9. Confidence will be high.
