A lady was starstruck after queuing for hours to meet her idol, the Nigerian author, Chimamanda Adichie, at her book signing event.

The lady, @the_darkskinnedfairy, mentioned that she forgot everything she intended to say when Chimamanda signed her book, despite having stood in line for hours to have this wonderful experience with her idol.

In the video, she laughed with Chimamanda while getting her book signed, suggesting she was nervous and couldn’t recall her planned words.

    She wrote,

“This was such a surreal moment for me honestly, I’ve idolized this woman since I was 10 years old and I know she’ll never know how much she means to me. Younger me is screaming rn 😭”

    Below are some reactions,

@SUYII MUA | Mua in Ojo See as you dey shine teeth😂😂😂😂😂

@Thacutepixel❤️ I’m the only reader that never gets excited about an author signing my book, the first thing I want to say is why did a book end like that.😹

@Majesty you should have just started blurting it out, the rest will come 😭😭😭

@ThroughAngel’sEyes At least you met her and she signed on your book🥹

    Watch Video,
