David Henrie
After suffering three miscarriages, actor David Henrie and his wife Maria met Pope Francis in 2018.
In a post shared on Instagram, David Henrie disclosed that he feared his wife would have another miscarriage following their previous losses.
He explained in his post that the late pope prayed for them while his wife was pregnant with their daughter, Pia.
He further explained why he named his daughter after the late Pope Francis.
“Maria and I suffered three miscarriages before finally being able to carry Pia to full term… The reason Pia’s middle name is Francesca is because I asked Pope Francis to pray for Maria and me to have a baby. “It’s a great honor to meet you. I wanted to come here and say thank you very much for protecting us, and we must communicate the importance of not only climate change but also how many people die every year because of pollution,” he said.
