A communications team member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dennis Miracles Aboagye, is of the view that Ghana is being led by a group of incompetent people who lied their way to power.

He explains that, apart from the fact that cement prices have increased astronomically, there is also a shortage on the market.

Dennis Miracles Aboagye made this known in a tweet responding to an old tweet from the current government spokesperson, Felix Kwakye Ofosu.

He said, “Cement prices have increased by a whopping 45 cedis under 4 months of your presidency. In 8 years, it increased by 55 cedis under the NPP. Cement price in 2016 – 30 cedis, Cement price in January 2025 – 85 cedis, Cement price in April 2025 – 130 cedis.”

He added, “To make it worse, there’s the worst-ever shortage in cement supply in the country. You can’t even find it to buy! Clueless, ever-incompetent bunch of arrogant braggarts who just scammed their way into power.”
