Former Hearts of Oak winger, Torric Jabrin, has expressed disappointment over not adjusting his age at the beginning of his journey.

In an interview with Gil Media on YouTube, the Ghanaian footballer asserted that his age has become a significant barrier, limiting his chances of continuing at a high level in the sport.

“I’m still playing, and I want to play for the next two to three years,” Jabrin said.

“Just that my age. I didn’t work on the age at the beginning. If I mention my age and you see me playing, you’d say, ‘No, no, I should be 22.’”

He disclosed that he is currently 32 years old, which he claims is considered “too much” for an African footballer looking to compete professionally.

“But now, I’m 32 years old, which is too much for an African. I didn’t get the support or management that could manage my things well,” he lamented.

However, available data from Google states that Torric Jabrin was born on January 14, 1991, which would make him 34 years old.

Throughout his professional journey, Jabrin played for clubs across several countries, including Turkey, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, DR Congo, Maldives, and Egypt. Notable among the teams he featured for are Hearts of Oak, Trabzonspor, TP Mazembe, and Al Masry.
