Ghanaian comedian, OB Amponsah, has commented on who deserves to take home the coveted Artiste of the Year award at the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

In a post sighted by Zionfelix.net, the popular comedian made a strong case for King Paluta, citing the rapper’s exceptional run in the year under review.

OB Amponsah highlighted three hit songs released by King Paluta—Aseda, Makoma, and For The Papping (Apicki)—as key indicators of his dominance in 2024.

He also noted the artiste’s impactful features on other successful tracks, including: Sika – DJ Vyrusky ft. KiDi & King Paluta and Odo Bi Yɛ Bad – Rap Fada ft. King Paluta, where he delivered the now-iconic verse: “Wanwaa meaaa me mbɔ tuo… Sɛ wondɔ meaaa nnipa bebrebebrebee bɛdɔ me oo”

“No artiste was more sought after or resonated with the general public more than King Paluta in 2024,” OB stated. “He had the kind of year Black Sherif had when he won Artiste of the Year. The young man deserves his flowers!”

As anticipation builds for the 26th TGMA, fans and industry stakeholders continue to rally behind their favorite nominees for the top honor.
