    “Why Didn’t Olamide Sign Me After ‘Zazu’? Well, He Can’t Now Because I’m Already Big” – Portable (VIDEO)

    Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola professionally known as Portable has, in a recent interview with Echo Room, faulted his colleague Olamide for not carrying him along.

    He stated that Olamide only gave him one song, ‘Zazu,’ which he went global with, but the ‘Infinity’ crooner didn’t sign him to his record label.

    According to Portable, Olamide signed Asake, but it’s not as if Asake is more talented than him, leaving Portable to climb to the top on his own.

    Portable went on to state that Olamide can no longer sign him because he’s now a big deal, and only top record labels like Sony can sign him.

    Adding that this is one of the reasons why he’s still close with Skepta and would fight with him, because, unlike Olamide, Skepta carried him along.

    He said;

    “Do you know why I cannot fight with Skepta? Because Skepta held my hand the way I am currently holding yours, while Olamide, on the other hand, didn’t hold my hand like this. I was just running up and down with no management. I have grown in this industry, and it’s time they help me organize a concert in the 02 Arena.”

    Below are some of the comments;

    “Never trust the loyalty of a poor/hungry man.”

    “He acts like he’s entitled to everyone and everything.”

    “Make you dey fight olamide all the time abi? Olamide is unproblematic abeg!“

    “If he sign you, nah you go still talk say “Eyin fans mi egbami ooo, Egbon Olamide shey ore funmi, won ma tun lo so ti nio” “
