Burkina Faso’s military leader, Ibrahim Traoré, showcased his impressive football skills by scoring three goals in a match featuring legendary African players on March 26, 2025.

Traoré, who captained the non-legendary team, scored his first goal with a stunning free-kick that sailed past the goalkeeper.

He then doubled his team’s lead with a powerful long-range shot that found the back of the net.

He completed his hat-trick by pouncing on a rebound from the goalkeeper and tapping the ball into the net.

The match featured legendary players, including former Togo national team captain Emmanuel Adebayor and ex-Super Eagles star Jay-Jay Okocha.

Other notable legends who participated included Stéphane Mbia of Cameroon, as well as Mamadou Niang and Souleymane Diawara of Senegal.

Traoré’s remarkable performance has caught the attention of sports enthusiasts, who are both impressed and amazed by his footballing skills.

At 37 years old, Traoré has proven himself to be not only a skilled military leader but also a talented footballer.
