Ghana coach Otto Addo is demanding perfection and focus ahead of their game against Madagascar.

The Barea will host the Black Stars in the Matchday six games of the 2026 World Cup qualifier tonight at the Al Hoceima Grand Stadium.

After a resounding 5-0 win against Chad on Friday in Accra, the 49-year-old, speaking ahead of the game, said they must focus on winning the game to enhance their chances of qualifying for the tournament next year.

Addo, however, admitted that it will be a tough clash.

“I think the most important thing is that I know everybody’s excited; everybody was happy about our last win, but we still have a long way to go, and we need everyone to be on their toes,” the former Borussia Dortmund talent coach told the GFA media.

“We don’t need 98 percent; we don’t need 99 percent; we need 100 percent. This is like a small final, and if we win this game, then we are really going to qualify, but it’s going to be very, very tough,” he added.

Kick-off for the game has been scheduled at 19:00 GMT.

Ghana, who sits top in Group I, hopes to maintain its position by winning against Madagascar, as they desire to make their fifth appearance at the global showpiece in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
