A major crash has forced the closure of Queensland‘s Bruce Highway just south of Bowen after a fiery collision early this morning.
Emergency services rushed to the scene near Bowen Airport after reports of a two-vehicle crash just before 6am.
Two people were taken to Bowen Hospital with abdominal and pelvic injuries. Both are in a stable condition.
Queensland Fire Department said the crash left one of the cars on fire but this was brought under control by 6.20am.
