Ghanaian social media sensation Nana Tornado was overwhelmed with grief at the final funeral rites of his beloved mother, Mrs. Beatrice Akuorkor Wood, held today, Saturday, March 22, 2025.

He was seen crying at the Tema Joint Church when mourners gathered to pay their last respects to the woman who had nurtured and supported him through life.

Spotted in a white outfit, Nana Tornado was seen weeping uncontrollably beside his mother’s coffin as he struggled to contain his emotions as he bid her a final farewell.

The sight of the usually outspoken personality in tears moved many attendees, who watched in solemn silence as he tried to process his loss.

The burial service, which took place earlier in the morning, saw family, friends, and well-wishers coming together to honor the life of Mrs. Beatrice Akuorkor Wood, who passed away at the age of 75.

Following the service, she was laid to rest in a private interment at the Osu Cemetery, as per the family’s arrangements.

The funeral rites continued at the Tema Joint Church grounds, where family members and loved ones gathered to console each other and celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Akuorkor Wood.

A thanksgiving service is expected to take place tomorrow, Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the same venue to conclude the final farewell.
