Founding President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe has lambasted national Security operatives for their handling of search warrants.

In a post shared on his Facebook page on Thursday, March 20, 2025, he indicated that search warrants are for lawful searches and not to vandalise property.

“It is embarrassing for the Majority Leader of the ruling govt to be rendering apologies on behalf of state-sponsored thugs who raid the home of citizens.

“In a civilised country, warrants secured are for lawful searches, not to vandalise property, steal food, money and jewelry”, he noted.

on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, some armed men led by Richard Jakpa, Director of Special Operations at the National Security Secretariat raided the private residence of the former Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr Ernest Addison.

Reports indicate that they disabled the CCTV system and allegedly ransacked his home during the raid.
