Controversial socialite and fashionista Nana Tornado has shot down rumours that he is homosexual.

In a viral video on shared on Instagram by blogger Mari Gyata, Nana Tornado stated that he just ‘plays along’ when approached by homosexuals so as not to hurt their feelings.

According to him, most people make the assumption that he is gay because of his feminine posture.

“I just play along when I’m approached by homosexuals. I play along because I don’t want anyone to feel bad. Even if I tell them I’m not gay, because I look feminine, they think I’m lying,” he clarified.

Nana Tornado explained that he is not bothered to dispel the rumours as he does not have time to be arguing about his sexuality.

He stated that most of his US-based friends are gay, but they understand his sexuality, which is enough for him.

“I don’t have time to be going back and forth with anyone. I’ve lived in America, and most of my friends in the US are gay. And they know my true sexuality, so I won’t bother to be arguing about it with anyone,” he said.

On the question of the anti-LGBT bill, Nana Tornado said he is not bothered by the bill as it doesn’t affect his livelihood.

“As for the bill, whether they pass it or not, it is none of my business; it doesn’t put food on my table,” he said.
