Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare has expressed gratitude to the Black Stars’ technical team following his debut call-up.

The shot-stopper was filled with appreciation to God and the technical team of the Black Stars after receiving his maiden call-up.

“I’m very grateful to God for this opportunity. Also, thanks to the technical team for giving me this chance,” he told the national team media.

Benjamin Asare is one of three debutants named in the squad and one of three local players.

The Hearts of Oak goalie trained for the first time on Monday, March 17, 2025, as the team prepare for their matches against Chad and Madagascar.
