The Black Stars have begun preparations for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers with just about half of the squad present.
Twelve players out of the 23-man squad have arrived in the country, with 13 more set to join in the coming days before their first game on Friday, March 21.
Black Stars head coach Otto Addo held his first training session on Monday, March 17, with only nine players available.
Three late arrivals, Inaki Williams, Jordan Ayew and Lawrence Agyekum, joined on Monday, bringing the total to 12. More players, including Thomas Partey, and Alexander Djiku, are expected to arrive on Tuesday.
The manager expects a full squad for his third training session on Wednesday as he prepares for the match.
According to the team’s itinerary, the Black Stars will hold four training sessions before their games against Chad.
