Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, popularly known as Opambour, the founder of Ebenezer Miracle Worship Centre, has called for the arrest of Nanasumanhene of the Dormaa Traditional Area following the shocking incident involving Ghanaian journalist Kofi Adomah Nwanwani.

According to Opambour, both the chief who invited Kofi Adomah and the gunman who fired the shot must be arrested immediately.

He explained that Kofi Adomah would not have been harmed if he had not been invited to the event.

Speaking during a sermon with his junior pastors, he stated, “Has the guy who shot Kofi in the eye been arrested? Why is he still walking free? He must be arrested! In the same way…has the person who also killed the Kotoko fan been arrested?”

“Kofi was sitting somewhere, and they invited him. The chief who invited him, how did he even get Kofi’s number? Why did he call him? The police must arrest that chief. Who told him to invite Kofi?” he added.

According to multiple reports, the Sumanhene of the Dormaa Traditional Council invited Kofi Adomah on behalf of Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II, a few months ago to cover the Dormaa Kwafie Festival and the 25th anniversary of the Dormaahene’s enstoolment in Dormaa Ahenkro, Bono Region.

While covering the event, Kofi Adomah was shot in the face by a gunman wielding a musket, causing severe damage to his eyes and necessitating multiple surgeries.
