Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei, the former MP for Akuapem North, is taking a strong stance against journalist Kwaku Annan over allegations she claims are “malicious, untrue, and purposely calculated” to ruin her reputation.

The allegations in question were made on Annan’s show, The Frontline, where he claimed that Ama Dokua had been declared wanted by the Ghana Police in connection with a crime involving the publication of nudity. However, Ama Dokua’s lawyers have dismissed these claims as baseless and untrue.

Ama Dokua is now demanding that Kwaku Annan provides evidence to support his allegations or face legal action. Her lawyers have issued a cease-and-desist letter, warning Annan to retract his statements and apologize within 48 hours.

It’s worth noting that this is not the first time Ama Dokua has faced controversy. In the past, she has been accused of busing in unknown delegates to vote in the Okaikwei North Constituency, and has also faced opposition from the NDC’s parliamentary candidate, Theresah Lardi Awuni.
