    The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has released a list of twelve players who were unable to receive a call-up to the Black Stars squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers due to injuries.

    Check out the list below:

    • Alidu Seidu is currently undergoing rehabilitation after suffering an

    Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury.

    • Brighton and Hove Albion’s Tariq Lamptey has an ankle ligament injury.

    • Brandon Thomas-Asante suffered a muscle tear.

    • Abdul Mumin is also battling an ACL injury.

    • Joseph Aidoo is dealing with muscle issues.

    • Abdul Manaf Nurudeen has an ankle injury.

    • Abdul Fatawu Issahaku is recovering from an ACL injury.

    • Baba Iddrisu is in the recovery process from an unspecified injury.

    • Ibrahim Sulemana is suffering from Adductor Tendonitis.

    • Daniel Kofi Kyereh is still struggling with a knee injury.

    • Majeed Ashimeru is working on his recovery from an injury.

    • Joseph Paintsil has a quadriceps injury.

    The squad, announced by head coach Otto Addo, includes the return of Thomas Partey after a short absence, while André Dede Ayew was left out once again.

    The Black Stars will face Chad on March 21, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium before traveling to play against Madagascar in an away fixture on March 24, 2025.
