    A Nigerian businesswoman, Adeife Adeoye, laments the difficulties of running a business and expresses her desire to quit.

    This she revealed in a video she posted on her TikTok, @adeifeadeoye after her community manager who was responsible for managing her online platform quit without any prior notice.

    Adeife is the founder of, Remote WorkHer an organization that was created to help empower women by allowing them to work remotely.

    She revealed that she had started the organization as a passion project, before going full-time with it and turning it into a business. She had put her heart and soul into it, creating and implementing business strategies that helped grow the business.

    Unfortunately, things did not go as she had planned, as she ended up facing numerous difficulties that she didn’t see coming. The latest of her troubles which prompted the creation of the video she uploaded to TikTok, was the resignation of a key staff member without prior warning.

    The sudden loss of a key member left her scrambling, unsure of what to do, or the steps to take to ensure her business keeps running.

    Heartbroken, Adeife expressed her desire to quit entirely, as she was tired of owning a business. She wrote in the caption of the video;

    “I hate it here. I’m tired of owning a business. God help me. I’m sorry for crying. Business owners, please help. How did you navigate this?”

    Many netizens who sympathized with her ordeal, have come to her aid offering her advice on how she can navigate this difficult time in her life.

    Read some of the comments below;

    @celine21_80 Can you put remoteworkHER on a pause ? restrategize and come back stronger. there is no harm in that Jesus even after preaching on the mount, retreats to a quite place to recharge His Spirit.

    @titodaily2024 welcome to the club. Ask school owners they will tell you lots of stories. Don’t give up. Go for character and people you will mentor and grow with you.

    @jehnifa_sunshine so sorry Adeife. I’ve worked as a community manager for large crypto communities and these are my suggestions. first of all 1800 active people is a lot for just one person to handle day in day out.

    @veethecreator0 Adife you need to ask them to sign a contract before you give them the job, that if they want to resign ,they should give you 2months notice ❤️

    @olamiposi0519 You need people who will share in your vision. give them shares as part of benefits so they become an inner part of the system. more salary won’t do much… a bigger company is willing to pay more.

    @chinwe_interior Managing a community of 1,800 human beings is too much for a single person to handle. Maybe divide the community into smaller groups and hire people to manage each group.

    @adeifeadeoye God help me. I’m sorry for crying 🥲 Business owners please help. How did you navigate this #fyp #viral ♬ Amapiano – Asake & Olamide
