Black Stars captain Andre Dede Ayew has leapfrogged Mohammed Kudus on the Black Stars’ Top 5 European leagues scorers chart.

Ayew overtook the West Ham United star following his goal in Le Havre’s 4-3 away win over Lens in the French Ligue 1.

The former Swansea forward pulled Le Havre level with a brilliant header to tie the game at 2-2 in the first half.

He also recorded an assist, contributing to two goals in the stunning victory for the visitors on Saturday, March 1, 2025.

The goal took his tally to four this season in Ligue 1, surpassing Kudus, who has three goals, to become the fourth-highest-scoring Ghanaian in the Top 5 leagues this season.

He is now tied with Jordan Ayew, while Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo leads the chart with seven goals, followed by Iñaki Williams, who has scored five for Athletic Club.
