Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Sista Afia, has once again issued a stern warning to her colleagues who don’t support her career.

In an interview with Hitz FM on March 3, 2025, Sista Afia said such category of people should never invite her to thier shows.

“Don’t ever stage your shows and call me because I’m never coming. I know it’s not by force for anyone to support my music but I’m saying this based on the relationship I have with the people.

“I’ve been disappointed severally but I let everything slide when they apologise. When I hold shows and I call you them, they don’t come but they expect me to come for their shows,” she stated.

Tackling her female colleuages in particular, she said, “They know themselves, I just don’t want to mention any name so everyone should do their thing. I don’t have time for these things because they are not needed anymore.

“I don’t have any problem with any of them. It’s the diversity of it because as an artiste, we diverse.”

She said, however, that her statement about not recieving support isnt targeted at everyone.

“I wasnt talking about everyone in the industry. I’m talking about the people who are close to me, we share ideas to each other and do almost everything together,” Sista Afia said.
