    Jonathan Abdallah Salifu, who is also the Upper East Regional Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) newly appointed as Corporate Communications Manager for the Volta River Authority-Northern Electricity Distribution Company (VRA-NEDCo), has called for calm following reports of staff resistance to his appointment.

    The staff of Vra-Nedco issued a statement on Monday, March 3rd,2025 highlighting reasons they reject the purported appointment.

    In response, Salifu took to social media, posting, *“Just Remain Calm. This Shall Pass,”* signaling a composed reaction to the internal dissent.

    His appointment, aimed at enhancing VRA-NEDCo’s public engagement, has sparked debate among staff members.
