“Making love to my wife is a really sweet experience,” popular talent manager Bullgod has said in graphic Akan/Twi terms, commenting on why he loves his wife so much.

He spoke to Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo mid-morning show.

“Her lovemaking has arrested me,” he emphasised, noting that his German-based wife is of Ewe and Ga-Dangbe descent.

He lightheartedly noted how women of the said ethnic groups were taught how to “cook their vaginas” by their mothers.

Bullgod eulogised his wife as “an amazing human being.” He revealed that his deceased mother “picked” his wife for him, blessing her memory.

“We had been dating for a while, but my mother had not seen her before. So, there was a day we had a fight when we went to see a movie. Due to this, I left her and went to be with my boys. I was living with my mother and sister then. When I got home – at midnight or a little after – I saw someone sleeping where I usually slept.

“I thought it was one of my cousins who had come to sleep over for two or three days, as usual, so I looked for another spot to lie down. When I put on the light, my mum was sitting on the bed. She asked me, ‘Do you know the woman sleeping here?’ I checked, and it was my wife. My mum said, ‘Sleep by her; we will talk in the morning.'” Bullgod narrated how his then-girlfriend and mother were introduced.

The entertainment pundit said it was a rather unusual scene because his mother was not fond of having even his male friends come around, as her mantra was, “My friends should be my books.”

“The only friend she would allow around was Papi [5Five] – she’d even wake me up for him. Everyone else was sent away and told I was not home, even though they could see me there.”

Bringing his point home, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, alias Bullgod, said he was “amazed” at the reception his mother gave his girlfriend-turned-wife, especially considering how she had gone to unpleasantly confront the mother of a girl he was dating previously.

“I was surprised they gave her a place to sleep. So straight away, I realised this was the woman I was going to marry. They were good friends until my mum passed. When I sit here and talk about my wife, I cannot say it lightly. She’s been there for me forever. I tell you [the truth]. I’ve been so troublesome, but she’s been with me all along.

“She’s given me beautiful kids; the first being a girl called Sika, a boy called Nhyira, and two other girls, Adom and Aseda. And she’s taken beautiful care of all of us – I mean, including me. She’s there advising me, guiding me, through thick and thin,” Bullgod extolled his wife again.

This led to him being asked if the rumour was true that his wife was fending for him.

“Yes, it’s not a problem. She’s been taking care of me for a very long time,” he answered enthusiastically.
