It was ‘party and jams’ as award-winning actress Jackie Appiah and her manager, Samira Yakubu, marked their graduation from the University of Ghana with Master of Arts (MA) degrees in Communication Studies on February 12, 2025.

The graduation ceremony, held at the University of Ghana’s School of Graduate Studies, saw the duo walking proudly alongside fellow graduates.

The celebration continued with a lunch date at the Kempinski Hotel, where Jackie and Samira hosted guests, including Jackie’s mother and actress Kalsoume Sinare.

A video shared by ZionFelix on Instagram from the event captured Jackie and her mother enthusiastically joining in the festivities.

The event was filled with laughter, music, and heartfelt moments, including the cutting of a graduation cake by Jackie and Samira, with Jackie’s mother standing proudly between them.

The highlight of the celebration was a heartwarming ‘jama’ session, a traditional Ghanaian gathering filled with singing and praise.

The actress was spotted in high spirits as she clapped and danced while her mother sang along.

This achievement adds another feather to Jackie Appiah’s cap, further solidifying her status as a role model in both the entertainment and academic spheres.

Meanwhile, her fans have flooded social media with congratulatory messages, celebrating her dedication to her education and growth.
