A bus crashed into a suburban home while carrying seven people.

Emergency services rushed to Aplin Rd in Bonnyrigg Heights about 9.50am on Tuesday following reports of the smash.

Seven people were assessed at the scene – six passengers and the bus driver.

The passengers only suffered minor injuries, including cuts and bruises.

The male bus driver, believed to be aged in his 50s, was taken to Liverpool Hospital, also with minor injuries.

He walked off the bus from the crash but required further testing after complaining of a sore back and knees.

It’s understood nobody was inside the home at the time of the crash.

NSW Fire and Rescue, police and paramedics attended the scene.
