    Four people lost their lives in a fatal car crash on the Ho-Accra Road near Anum-Asikuma on Saturday, February 1, 2025.

    The victims, including two drivers and two passengers, died instantly when a Toyota RAV4 collided head-on with a Toyota Hiace mini-bus.

    The driver of the Toyota Hiace vehicle was identified as Justice Adjei, also known as Bob Marley.

    The identities of the other victims have not yet been confirmed.

    Eleven injured passengers were taken to the Peki Government Hospital for treatment, along with the bodies of the deceased.

    According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred in the morning when a Toyota RAV4 with the number plate GW 3328-S attempted to overtake another vehicle while travelling from Accra.

    It crashed into an oncoming mini-bus, which had the car number “ER 1223-” and was heading from Ho to Koforidua.

    The collision was severe, leaving both vehicles badly damaged.

    Meanwhile, the police have stated they are investigating to identify the remaining deceased and injured passengers.
