Some seniors in high school have praised President John Dramani Mahama for keeping the Free SHS program in place and for greatly enhancing the quality of their on-campus meals.

The kids at SHS claim that they are enjoying the Free SHS even though they first believed President Mahama would end it.

According to the youngster, they are being fed Cindy rice with fried sausage and Abena rice at school.

He went on to say, “The Free SHS is really lovely now; we don’t eat ugly food anymore. Nana Addo was being wicked.”

Another kid told this news source, “They are preparing rice for us JM onapo, Cindy and Milicent.”

Under the previous Akufo-Addo administration, there were severe food shortages in many Senior High Schools nationwide, forcing students to eat the same meals up to three times a day.

Additionally, they were accused by Hon. Ablakwa of supplying more than 22,000 50kg sacks of outdated rice to SHS pupils in repackaged form.

Meanwhile, President John Mahama some weeks ago ordered the distribution of food meant for victims of last year’s drought in the northern part of the country to be redirected to schools which were stored in warehouses at Tema Port.
