The ongoing feud between Ghanaian music duo DopeNation and their former record label mate at Lynx Entertainment, Kuami Eugene, has taken a new turn.

DopeNation has fired yet another shot at Kuami Eugene in the heat of their recent clash.

In a post shared by the duo on their X page, they decided to respond to Kuami Eugene’s recent claim that they wanted his attention to release a ‘gym song’ again.

In their sharp response to this, DopeNation jabbed Kuami Eugene, who has been entangled in multiple accusations of song theft in the past.

Their post read: “Do not go and steal someone’s song”, an apparent dig at Kuami Eugene’s history of being called out for allegedly using melodies and lyrics from other artists without proper acknowledgment.

This is not the first time DopeNation and Kuami Eugene have been at odds. Their tension dates back to 2020, when DopeNation left Lynx Entertainment. Kuami Eugene made a controversial remark suggesting that their exit was beneficial, as it meant that revenue previously shared among four people (himself, Kidi, and the twins) would now be split between just two. DopeNation took offense, calling him out for being disrespectful and urging him to “learn how to talk.”
