Former Ghana versatile player, Joseph Attamah Larweh, was sent off in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday as his side Kayserispor succumbed to a heavy defeat to Sivasspor.

Attamah Larweh received two yellow cards within six minutes to get the marching orders, which saw Kasimpasa suffer a humiliating 5-2 loss at the BG Group 4 Eylül Stadyumu in matchday 21 of the top-flight.

The 30-year defender, who can also play as a midfielder was initially cautioned in the 79th minute. Attamah Larweh had to be sent off at the 86th-minute mark following a second caution in the match.

Before Attamah Larweh, Kayserispor had already been reduced to 10-man following Stéphane Bahoken’s early red card.

Sivasspor opened the scoring just five minutes into the game through Rey Manaj before Onurcan Piri’s own goal doubled the advantage for the host.

Cape Verde international found the net going into the halftime break, ensuring the home team went to recess with a 3-0 advantage.

Sivasspor scored two additional goals in the second half through Emrah Bassan and Rey Manaj as they cruised to an emphatic victory.

Duckens Nazon and Aylton Boa Morte’s goals in the second half were not enough for the visitors to escape defeat.

The 30-year-old Ghanaian defender has racked up 16 appearances in the Turkish top flight this season.
