The court case involving the troubled prophet Elijah Salifu Amoako and his wife, Mouha Amoako, has been postponed by an Accra Circuit Court.

The court case involving the troubled prophet Elijah Salifu Amoako and his wife, Mouha Amoako, has been postponed by an Accra Circuit Court.

Due to their son’s involvement in an accident at East Legon that killed two lives, the couple was accused.

On Monday, January 27, 2025, the state attorney and defense attorney urged that the case be adjourned to Monday, February 17, 2025.

Bishop Amoako, the General Overseer of Alive Chapel International, and his wife Mouha were apprehended by the police after their teenage son, Elrad, was involved in a car accident in East Legon on October 12, 2024, that killed two teens, Justine Agbenu and Maame Dwomoh.

Linda Bonsu Bempah, the couple’s sales assistant, was also taken into custody.

The two teenage girls were tragically killed when Elrad, the son of Bishop Salifu Amoako, drove his mother’s car carelessly and without a valid driver’s license, colliding with a burning Acura.

With two sureties each, the three people are currently out on GHC50,000 bail after entering not-guilty pleas.

On December 19, 2024, Elrad Amoako entered a guilty plea to eight charges, including manslaughter, recklessly inflicting hurt, unsafe driving, and diving without a license. He was then sentenced to six months in prison by an Accra Juvenile and Family Court.
