Popular Nigerian socialite, Bobrisky
Popular Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has responded to the recent executive order by U.S. President Donald Trump, which recognises only two genders; male and female.
The policy, signed by Trump on his first day back in office, aims to establish the recognition of just these two genders across all U.S. government policies.
During his inaugural address, Trump confirmed the decision, stating, “As of today, it will henceforth be the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders, male and female.”
In response, Bobrisky who is currently living in the United States, has downplayed the policy’s impact, reaffirming confidence in her identity as a woman.
She posted on Instagram: “I don’t have business with Trump. Trump said we have only two genders, right? And I said I am now a woman who has undergone everything. If they ask for evidence, I will show them. Simple.”
