English Premier League side, West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Dutch forward of Ghanaian descent, Brian Brobbey before the January transfer window shuts.

The Hammers have struggled to compete since the 2024/25 football season commenced in 2024.

Keen on turning things around, West Ham officials have agreed with manager Graham Potter to bring in reinforcements this month.

The club wants to bring in a strike to improve its attack and has decided to go for Ajax striker Brian Brobbey.

However, the young forward who has just a goal and two assists for Ajax in the Eredivisie this season is the second choice of West Ham.

The first choice option for the English club is Portuguese attacker Andrae Silva.

West Ham are desperate and want to bring Silva on board from RB Leipzig on an initial six-month loan deal.

Talks with representatives of the two players have been scheduled for the next couple of days.
