The new signing of Asante Kotoko, Daniel Adrian Adjetey has opened up on why he chose to join the club.

According to him, one of the main reasons is the exceptional project the club’s management presented to him.

“It’s an incredible feeling to join Kotoko. This is one of the biggest clubs in Africa, and I’m honoured to be part of it. I’ve had the privilege of playing abroad, but coming back to represent Kotoko feels special. One of the reasons I wanted to play in Ghana again is the exceptional project the club’s management put forward to me,” Daniel Adrian Adjetey said as quoted on the website of his new club.

The defender sealed his move to the Porcupine Warriors club on Monday, January 20, after a successful medical examination.

In his maiden interview, Daniel Adrian Adjetey shared his readiness to work hard for his new club to ensure the team succeeds.

“It’s exciting, and I’m confident this is the right place for me to grow as a player and contribute to something great. I know the expectations here are high, and I’m ready to work hard, compete for my place, and give my all to help the team succeed,” Daniel Adrian Adjetey said.

With the acquisition of the defender, Asante Kotoko’s squad has been augmented as the side aims to clinch the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the 2024/25 football season.
