Samartex boasts an impressive record against the Phobians Samartex boasts an impressive record against the Phobians

FC Samartex 1996 bounced back from recent frustrations with a crucial victory over Aduana Stars FC last week, ending a five-game winless streak.

As they prepare to host giants Hearts of Oak at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena on Sunday afternoon, the defending champions are eager to secure their first back-to-back league wins of the season.

Samartex boasts an impressive record against the Phobians, remaining unbeaten in four games since their promotion to the top flight.

New coach Christopher Ennin will take charge of his first game, with a win over Hearts being a perfect start to his tenure.

On the other hand, Hearts are riding a wave of positivity after recording three consecutive victories since their defeat to their bitter rivals Asante Kotoko SC in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians are determined to maintain this momentum and aim to end the first half of the campaign on a high note.

A win could potentially see them claim the top spot.

Entering Sunday’s game, Hearts come off an impressive comeback win against Accra Lions FC in their last league match.

Aboubakar Ouattara’s side has lost just one of their last seven away games, a record that bolsters their confidence to achieve their first-ever league victory over Samartex.

The stage is set for an exciting clash as Samartex seeks to maintain their stronghold over Hearts while the Phobians aim to continue their winning streak and climb to the top of the league standings.
