A Renowned Ghanaian educationist and serial entrepreneur, Dr Adam Umar Yabila, has urged the diasporan community and investors to take advantage of Ghana’s peaceful elections and smooth transfer of power to do business in the country.

He emphasised that Ghana still remained the preferred destination for trade, business and investment.

Dr Yabila, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Yabila Global, said this in a statement copied to the Ghanaian Times after his business trip to meet a section of the diasporan community in Europe and Saudi Arabia, where he had a series of engagement with several business interests.

The Yabila Global is a company that specialises in education, training, travel and tour, and other investment interests.

According to the statement, he had a fruitful engagements with prospective investors in Ghana’s hospitality industry, oil and gas, farming, hajj service delivery, and Islamic Banking.

According to him, his trip to meet with the business community in Europe and the Middle East sought to “strengthen the operations of Yabila Global on the European continent and beyond to promote development.”

Dr Yabila stressed the need for human and community resource mobilisation in “building progressive and sustainable societies,” emphasising on corporate social responsibility to drive investment.

Relatedly, Dr Yabila took the opportunity to familiarise himself with the operations of Deutsche Welle (DW), a global news agency, at their headquarters in Bonn, Germany.

He met with the head of the Hausa service, Mohammad Nasir Awal, to discuss educational and other social issues in Ghana, Africa, and Germany, by “telling the story from the African perspective.”

He took the opportunity to balance business with community engagements.

He gave lectures to the Muslim community in Hamburg, Germany, and replicated some of the engagements in Nuremberg, also in Germany.

He also paid an academic visit to the University of Berlin, where he shared his expertise, works, and knowledge with students and faculty members.

In Turnhout, Belgium, Dr Yabila conducted a workshop on his latest book, Al-Arabiyya Bilqurbi Minka (Arabic Near You), which was well-attended by teachers and interested individuals from across the European continent.

The workshop provided a platform for him to share his expertise in Arabic language and culture, and innovative ways of teaching Arabic.

The renowned educationist and entrepreneur’s efforts continue to inspire many, and he has demonstrated his commitment to education, community development, and cultural exchange.

Dr Yabila is also the author of several books, including “Al-Arabiyya Bilqurbi Minka” (Arabic Near You), which has gained international recognition.

He is a respected figure in Ghana and beyond, and his contributions to education and community development have been recognised and celebrated.
