Controversial singer Portable took to social media to address the constant comparisons to Asake, firmly stating that his facial appearances bear a stronger likeness to American rapper Lil Wayne.

Recall that Asake unveiled his new look on January 12, featuring several images inked on his face which set the Internet abuzz.

In a recent Instagram post, Portable cautioned against comparisons, warning those comparing his facial tattoos to Asake’s. He claimed that his distinctive look should be compared to Lil Wayne, who has multiple characters inked on his face.

“No dey use me compare Asake, I don’t look like him, I look like Lil Wayne”, He exclaimed in the Yoruba dialect.

Because he is in his league, the controversial singer claims that he is a boss of his own and should be compared to foreign singers rather than Nigerian ones.

Netizens have responded to Portable’s warning with amusing remarks, criticizing his facial tattoos as poor quality and a waste of human resources.
