Black Stars forward Kamaldeen Sulemana scored and assisted in Southampton’s 3-0 win over Swansea in the FA Cup Round of 64 on Sunday, January 12, 2025.

Sulemana has endured a tough time with the Saints, as he’s had limited playing time this season.

However, the arrival of Ivan Jurić has revitalized the 22-year-old, who was handed his second successive start. Sulemana repaid the faith by scoring a beautiful goal to put Southampton 1-0 up.

With the ball up for grabs, Sulemana sped forward, claimed possession, and cheekily dinked it over the onrushing McLaughlin.

It was Sulemana’s first goal of the 2024/25 campaign, and he added an assist by setting up Tyler Dibling to make it 2-0 for the Saints.

Sulemana’s performance earned him the Man of the Match award while also helping Southampton advance to the Round of 32.
