Ghanaian political and social activist, Kwame Asare Obeng, well-known as A Plus, who is now the MP of Gomoa Central, has opened up about one of the strategies that helped him to win the seat.

He disclosed in a video that he sought advice from Shatta Wale before the 2024 elections.

A Plus said after listening to everybody, he went to Wale and asked him about his crowd-pulling skills.

According to the Gomoa Central Member of Parliament, the Shatta Movement leader advised him to read the story of Jesus Christ.

He said the ‘Freedom’ singer stated that Jesus Christ was not talking plenty, put in action and solved people’s problems—by feeding them and others.

A Plus learned from Shatta Wale that talking plenty wouldn’t help.

He recalled Shatta Wale reiterating that people would follow him if he solved their problems and embarked on developmental projects.

A Plus added that Wale is a wise man.
